The inner ring
Shoreditch and Hoxton sit either side of Old Street roundabout and take the most bookings on this site. Spitalfields is five minutes south east of them, all Georgian streets and a market roof. Liverpool Street and Aldgate close the western edge where the City starts.

Up the Overground
Dalston is the late one, Hackney the settled one and London Fields the one with a park in the middle of it. All three are E8, all three are Zone 2, and none of the three costs anything extra to reach.

East and south east
Bethnal Green is one stop out of Liverpool Street on the Central line. Whitechapel now has four railways in one station, including the Elizabeth line from Heathrow. Past them, Bow sits between two canals and Limehouse holds the quiet western end of E14.

01Is any district more expensive than another?
No. The figure is identical in all twelve, and her travel is inside it anywhere in Zones 1 and 2.
02How long does she take to reach the far ones?
Bow and Limehouse are the longest runs, about forty to fifty minutes in the early evening. The nearer districts are usually inside the hour and often well inside it.
