Six with black hair, and how each wears it
Black rather than very dark brown, which is a distinction this page takes seriously. Six women on the roster have properly black hair, and the interesting thing is how differently they wear it: straight to the shoulder blades, heavy and blunt, loose, or sleek all the way to the waist.

Heavy, blunt and long

Late twenties, direct, and finished deciding what she likes.
Straight to the waist
Milena wears black hair straight to the waist, curvy at 175 cm, and is used to being looked at on a street where everybody is trying to be. She dresses against it: flat boots, a long coat, her height doing all the work. She walks the length of Kingsland Road most weeks and will order for the table if you let her, which you should.
Long, falling straight
Danielle is black haired, long and falling straight, curvy at 170 cm, with a stillness that makes a pavement move around her instead. Dalston is her ground, records are her real subject, and she is back in the first week of October. Three hours suits her better than one, and the good part of her evening is the third hour rather than the first.
Worn loose, and worn tall
Roxi wears hers long and loose, curvy at 168 cm, with a posture that turns a plain dress into a decision. Spitalfields is hers and she is taking dates from the ninth of October. Violetta is the tallest name in the book at 178 cm, black hair sleek and straight, dressed in a column of dark fabric and flat shoes, and abroad until the nineteenth.
What this shortlist does not claim
That any of them is the same as the others. One is silent, one is direct, one takes charge of the menu, one wants the third hour and two of them are the most striking arrivals on the roster. Colour is recorded here, never ranked, and every height on the page was taken standing and without heels.
